Rozina Khanam

Rozina Khanam is a passionate social worker and a fearless advocate for women’s rights and empowerment. Her career began in 2000 with UNICEF, leading vital health awareness campaigns. She rose to prominence as Project Director of the Women Welfare Society of Patna, championing the cause of Muslim women.
Her contributions include submitting a key report to the Sachar Committee in 2006 and representing India in the U.S. State Department’s International Visitors Leadership Program in 2008. She has served on anti-sexual harassment committees in institutions like banks and Patna Airport and supported the movement for women’s reservation in Parliament.
Through her vocational centre, she has transformed the lives of thousands of women and girls—turning skills into independence and aspirations into achievements.
Dard ki Lakir is her tribute to the courage of her family and countless others impacted by conflict.
